Becoming a Client
We welcome communications from any prospective client. We want to hear from you about your circumstances and situation. Communications you send to us inquiring on potential representation will be confidential.
To protect the interests of you, our clients, and our firm, we cannot represent someone until certain items have occurred. So, please understand that a communication with our firm does not by itself constitute representation.
However, the process for discussing your situation and becoming a client remains quite simple.- 1. Contact Us
- Initially, we need to hear from you. You can communicate confidentially with our firm and any of its attorneys. We request that you do not send any documents to us in your initial communication.
- 2. Consult and Consideration
- After receiving your communication, we will need to consult with you to understand your circumstances and determine whether our firm best fits your needs. We may ask to review relevant documentation from you.
- 3. Engagement
- Should we be able to represent you, we will send you a written engagement letter for your signature. Upon receipt of the signed engagement letter and a retainer (similar to a security deposit), our representation of your interests will begin.
